Some Important changes will be starting this season so please take note.....

Season will begin August 19th and start with few weeks of practice followed by games starting the week of Sept 3rd. The final scheduled games will end Friday October 8th.

All Divisions in the Fall will be played " In House" with some different variations per division...

6U and 8U will be played with our normal format as before with the exception of now getting 2 games per week.

10U-14U will be adapting a clinic style approach for the fall season only.

In regards to the 10U-14U clinic style we are adapting... It has come to our attention we need to take a step back and focus a little more on some of the basic fundamentals of youth soccer prior to taking on 11v11 soccer matches even at the recreational level. This however will serve as a great platform for children that might be new to the sport (1st timers) or for children who have played prior seasons and show a little more skill.

We will be working with all children and teaching many basic to advanced skill learning through the season and during the initial first 3 weeks of practice we will have the availability to then place children on small sided teams and provide lots of 7v7 for 10u and 9v9 for older divisions games the remainder of the season. Youth Soccer of America as well as Say Soccer have implemented this as the standard all over our country for years with great results from Club level youth soccer down to Associations like us at PSA that are recreational.

Another big change...

Children from age 4 (Must be 4 prior to start date.. no exceptions) to 14 can sign up!

And if you would help us out and please sign up to coach a 6U or 8U team you get 1 Free Registration!! Its not hard to do as we will provide a coaches clinic prior to the start of the fall season. We are a VOLUNTEER Program and without coaches there will be no practice for teams without a coach.... please consider coaching and helping out a great community program! If you have any questions please contact Mike Schurr (814)952-3004 or Jill Rend at (814)590-9952 before July 31st!

We also need volunteer coaches ( Limited amount determined by PSA) at the 10U and up divisions as well so please sign up as a volunteer coach as we will be working with you as well during the season teaching you more advanced coaching drills and levels of coaching. The more help we have here will better the clinic style setup we are going to be tasking. The more coaches= the more stations we can have operating at once providing more time for children getting touches on the ball. And all in all get you the knowledge to possibly coach in upcoming spring seasons when we will have travel teams! Please consider helping in these divisions as well if your child is a participate.... the more help the better!
